Why Hookup Cebu?

Adults meeting adults, openly and honestly, with discretion and consent at the centre. Hookup Cebu grew out of the Reddit communities of the same name, and it is run the same way: by people who know the community, for the community.

Discretion first

Nobody here needs to show their face. Members choose a picture instead of uploading a photo of themselves, and decide for themselves when, and with whom, to share more. We never show anyone's exact location.

Every member who can message is a verified adult

To post listings or send messages you become a Community Member, which includes a quick check by an independent age-verification service. We only receive "passed" or "not passed": never your selfie, never your ID. This is the biggest difference from anonymous apps, and from Reddit.

Safer than going it alone

• Scams and fake profiles get reported, warned about in Scam alerts and removed.
• Moderators who know the community act on reports, with urgent ones dealt with first.
• Every decision is recorded, with the reason, and can be appealed.
• Tips on meeting safely: public places first, tell a friend, look after each other.

Everyone welcome

Locals and visitors. Singles, couples, swingers, groups. Straight, gay, bi, trans. If you are an adult and you treat people with respect, there is a place for you here.

What we do not allow

• Anyone under 18. Ever. Reports of under-age members are dealt with first, and passed to the authorities.
• Selling or buying sex, escorts, "allowance" arrangements, or anything that looks like trafficking.
• Posting anyone (their photo, name, number or description) who has not agreed to it.
• Pressure. Yes means yes; no, or silence, means no, at any point.

How it works

1. Look around as a Viewer: the board and the community sections.
2. Join free as a Registered User: read everything, vote, react, save, and take part in the community.
3. Become a Community Member to post listings and message other members. See the three levels.
